This role is part of the Enterprise Intelligence team within the Global Digital Network organization. As Senior Director, Global Category & Innovation Analytics Intelligence, you will lead a team of analytics experts to deliver actionable intelligence and insights that drive the success of our global category and innovation strategies, annual business plans, and long-term roadmaps. You will play a pivotal role in integrating analytics solutions into category planning and innovation plans, fostering collaboration across teams, and championing a culture of data-driven advanced analytic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
  • Develop and execute a compelling vision for category analytics and innovation intelligence, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

  • Inspire and coach a high-performing global team to unlock their full potential, drive innovation, and foster a culture of excellence and collaboration.

  • Lead cross-functional work to align analytics insights with marketing, innovation, commercial, and strategy teams.

Analytics and Insights Delivery
  • Spearhead intelligence delivery for categories, including monthly business reviews, quarterly performance deep-dives, annual business planning, and multi-year roadmaps.

  • Lead a team of analytics experts to update category performance reports, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.

  • Present performance data and strategic recommendations to category network stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with the Enterprise Intelligence team to integrate insights into brand strategy and identify opportunities for scaled productization and process improvements.

Innovation Integration
  • Embed innovation trends, consumer insights, and competitive analysis into category intelligence deliverables.

  • Design and implement strategies to incorporate innovative marketing ideas into category support services.

  • Manage a pipeline of innovative marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with category goals and timely execution.

Change Management
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive adoption of analytics tools and technologies across category planning and execution processes.

  • Advocate for data-driven decision-making by showcasing successful case studies and analytics-derived insights.

  • Lead change management initiatives to promote analytics adoption and improve processes.

Community Building
  • Create and foster a global community of practice for category analytics leads, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing.

  • Develop Ways-of-Working materials and mentor community advocates to drive engagement and growth.

  • Track engagement metrics and provide recommendations for improving community interactions and satisfaction.

Qualifications & Requirements
Functional Skills
  • Leadership and Team Management: Proven ability to lead and inspire diverse, global teams, fostering collaboration and high performance.

  • Data Storytelling: Expertise in simplifying complex data into actionable insights for diverse audiences, including senior leadership.

  • Advanced Analytics: Proficiency in AI, agentic, and advanced analytics tools

  • Strategic Planning: Experience translating multi-year strategic plans into actionable and measurable deliverables.

  • Category Analytics: Ability to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and translate raw data into meaningful insights for category growth.

  • Change Management: Proven track record of leading large-scale change initiatives and driving adoption of new tools and processes.

  • Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial metrics and P&L statements to assess category and innovation performance.

  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams across functions and geographies.

Experience
  • 15+ years of FMCG analytics expertise, with experience in global or regional roles.

  • Proven ability to influence work across teams and geographies in complex, matrixed organizations.

  • Experience in both strategic and operational roles with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes.

  • Adept team leadership experience, including mentoring and developing analytics professionals.

Education
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
