Job Description: 

Our client is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to design, implement, and secure large-scale cloud infrastructure and applications. This is a hands-on engineering role (not development) requiring deep expertise in AWS, Azure, and Palo Alto firewalls.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5–10 years in Information Security & Engineering
  • 5+ years with firewalls in AWS and Azure
  • 5+ years with Palo Alto firewalls (VM-series in cloud)
  • Strong cloud security design, operations, and automation experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • AWS or Azure certification (required)

Preferred Skills & Certifications

  • Prisma Cloud, Forescout, Cisco Umbrella, F5 Load Balancer/Firewall
  • Certifications: CISSP, Microsoft SC-100 Cybersecurity Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Prisma Certified Cloud Security Engineer, PCNSA, PCNSE

Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy secure, highly available cloud infrastructure (AWS & Azure)
  • Configure and maintain Palo Alto VM-series firewalls in cloud environments
