Cooperidge Consulting Firm is seeking a Senior Civil Designer or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) for a top Infrastructure Engineering client.

This role is based in Mesa, AZ, and requires a driven professional passionate about hands-on design for complex civil projects, including roadway alignments, utility systems, and civil site design. The position offers the opportunity to translate innovative ideas into impactful infrastructure projects, thrive in a collaborative environment, and contribute technical expertise to project success and staff mentorship.
Job Responsibilities

  • Design and develop core civil engineering projects, including roadway alignments, water, sewer, and drainage systems.
  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to support smart and sustainable design decisions.
  • Prepare comprehensive engineering plans, specifications, and detailed cost estimates with precision.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Ensure all designs strictly adhere to local, state, and federal regulations and project standards.
  • Support and mentor junior engineers and design staff, sharing technical expertise and best practices.
  • Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to execute accurate and efficient design and drafting work.
  • Perform stormwater management technical writing, calculations, and reports to support project documentation (especially for EIT candidates).

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field is typically required (implied by EIT designation).
