Job description

Flowers Hospital is assisting  EstrogenicA, an independent group in Dothan, AL. 

We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Obstetrician-Gynecologist to join our growing women’s health team. This opportunity combines an attractive minimum of 7 days of 24-hour call schedule per month with meaningful outpatient practice, surgical opportunities, and personalized mentorship from a DaVinci robotics–trained physician owner.

Practice Details & Highlights:

• Call: minimum of seven days of call a month with emphasis on a work life balance. More call coverage per month may be negotiated based on salary discussions.

• Outpatient Clinic: 4 clinic days per cycle dedicated to gynecology and outpatient women’s health, with opportunities to perform in-office procedures and earn surgical bonus compensation.

• Surgical Opportunities: Access to expand gynecologic service offerings at our Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) and work with DaVinci robotics at Flowers Hospital, alongside direct mentorship from our robotics-trained physician owner.

• Growth Track: Opportunities for professional growth in Medical Aesthetics, with training support to expand your scope of practice.

• Collaborative, team-based practice environment. Our practice is open to collaborating with family OB and Nurse midwives, allowing a better work life balance for the team that provides OB Services.

• Strong existing referral network and patient demand.

Responsibilities:

• Comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic practice including prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, well-woman care, and gynecologic surgery.

• Surgical procedures in both ASC and hospital settings, including minimally invasive and robotic-assisted approaches.

• Support OB/GYN call coverage and collaborate with colleagues across the continuum of care.

• Pursue ongoing personal and professional development with supportive mentorship.

Qualifications:

• MD/DO with accredited OB/GYN residency.

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology.

• Eligible for unrestricted state licensure.

• Strong clinical and surgical skills, with enthusiasm to grow in robotic surgery and medical aesthetics.
