The Role: We call our open role Business Process Analyst, you may call it simply, Business Analyst, EDI Coordinator, Technical Analyst, System Support Specialist, Supply Chain Analyst, or even Logistics Analyst. This role combines technical expertise with a strong customer-facing focus. The Business Process Analyst will serve as a key point of contact for customers using our PODIUM platform, helping them understand the system, adopt new functionality, and resolve process or technical challenges. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with data and systems while also presenting to customers, leading training sessions, and translating technical information into clear, practical guidance.


Qualifications: 

  • Previous experience as a Business Process Analyst or in a similar technical, systems, or customer solutions role
  • Strong customer-facing or client services experience, including the ability to build professional relationships and communicate with a variety of audiences
  • Experience presenting systems, platforms, or technical solutions to customers
  • Ability to lead customer training sessions and explain technical concepts in a clear, approachable manner
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, PivotTables, filtering, calculated fields, and other data analysis tools
  • Experience with data analysis, manipulation, and reporting
  • Ability to manage EDI integrations with customers and third-party partners
  • Strong verbal, written, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Highly organized, efficient, and proactive, with strong time-management skills
  • Ability to work successfully in a virtual team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams, customers, and stakeholders
  • Ability to travel as needed

Main Job Duties:

  • Serve as a customer-facing resource for the PODIUM platform and related systems and processes
  • Conduct platform demonstrations and training sessions for new and existing customers
  • Guide customers through system functionality, new features, and process improvements
  • Translate customer needs and business requirements into clear technical or process solutions
  • Support customers with system-related questions, issues, and ongoing platform adoption
  • Present system capabilities and new features to existing and prospective customers
  • Coordinate and set up EDI connections with customers and third-party partners
  • Create and automate reports for internal users and customers
  • Collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and customers to support integrations and resolve issues
  • Document projects, system configurations, customer requirements, and business processes
  • Maintain consistent communication with customers throughout implementations, training, and ongoing support

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience delivering software, platform, or systems training to external customers
  • Experience supporting customer implementations, onboarding, or technology adoption
  • High level of customer-facing experience in logistics, supply chain, transportation, or a related industry
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and other Power Platform tools
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data cleansing and transformation, and data visualization using tools such as Microsoft Excel

The annualized base salary for this position ranges from $81,000.00 to $85,000.00 excluding fringe benefits.  If hired at OOCL Logistics, the final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience.  In addition to those factors, we also consider internal equity as part of any final offer.  Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth.  All full-time employees enjoy these outstanding benefits, while in a safe, friendly, clean, business casual office environment.
