Position Overview

The Senior Business Operations Analyst is responsible for optimizing the day-to-day operations of the finance and business administration team within the Enterprise for Research, Innovation and Knowledge (ERIK) under the direction of the Associate Vice President for Finance and Business Administration. Works with the operational excellence, financial operations, budget planning and analysis, and sponsored fiscal operations teams to identify areas for improvement in processes, procedures, training, and structure to enhance performance and productivity; utilizes complex financial knowledge to develop policies and procedures related to sponsored fiscal operations; works with the sponsored fiscal operations team to train and mentor best practices; utilizes complex skills and knowledge of sponsored billing and accounting to help identify opportunities to improve internal controls; partners with the Office of Sponsored Programs, Office of Grants and Contracts, Office of Business and Industry Contracts, etc.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 8 years of relevant work experience.

  • Advanced degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 12 years of relevant work experience.
