Job Summary:
eTeam is seeking a Senior Blockchain Engineer to join their team. The role involves integrating Layer-1 blockchains, designing blockchain infrastructure, and contributing to wallet architecture and custody-related workflows, ensuring reliability and security in blockchain services.
Responsibilities:
• Integrate systems with Layer 1 blockchains, including Ethereum-based and other enterprise-relevant networks.
• Evaluate and enhance Layer 1 capabilities to support custody, scalability, and resiliency needs.
• Understand key chain mechanics, including transaction lifecycle, finality, forks, reorgs, and event propagation.
• Ensure blockchain integrations remain reliable under production load and stress conditions.
• Design and build core blockchain infrastructure, including indexers, event processors, block explorers, observability tools, chain data services, APIs, and cross-chain components.
• Ensure blockchain data pipelines are accurate, performant, and auditable.
• Support tooling for monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident response.
• Contribute to wallet architecture and development, including wallet services, transaction creation, signing workflows, and submission pipelines.
• Integrate wallets with custody key management systems such as MPC, HSMs, and signing services.
• Ensure clear separation of protocol logic, security controls, and business rules in wallet implementations.
• Partner with custody and security teams to validate end-to-end transaction flows.
• Support custody-related blockchain workflows, including on-chain transaction execution, event monitoring, reconciliation, and failure recovery.
• Define safe interaction patterns for smart contracts and token standards within custody platforms.
• Ensure blockchain workflows align with custody policies, approvals, and risk controls.
• Apply modern engineering practices to build reliable, testable, and observable blockchain services.
• Use GenAI and agentic AI tools to accelerate protocol analysis, development, testing, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
• Maintain engineering rigor by balancing speed, correctness, and safety.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Demonstrated experience in the development or integration of blockchain and distributed ledger technology solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Layer 1 blockchain architectures, including transaction flow and lifecycle concepts.
• Proven experience in building backend systems, APIs, and foundational infrastructure services.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Go, Java, Rust, Python, or comparable technologies.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment spanning custody, security, and platform engineering teams.
Preferred:
• Experience with blockchain data infrastructure, including indexers, block explorers, and on-chain analytics platforms.
• Solid understanding of wallet architectures and blockchain transaction signing workflows.
• Exposure to crypto custody environments or other highly secure, regulated financial platforms.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving capabilities within distributed, event-driven, and asynchronous systems.
• Experience applying AI-enabled development tools to support complex engineering and delivery workflows.
