Senior Software Engineer
We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack .NET Developer with an ownership mindset to join the IBEAM engineering team. You will lead architecture discussions, own features from design through deployment, and deliver scalable, resilient solutions that have direct impact on Primeritus’s operations and its lender and marketplace clients. You’ll work across the full stack from Blazor UI development and RESTful API design to backend business logic, event-driven messaging, and internal and external integrations.
The ideal candidate is a strong technologist who takes pride in designing scalable system architecture, driving innovation, and maintaining high engineering standards. You are collaborative, eager to mentor junior developers, and comfortable working on a team that embraces AI both in the product and in how we build software.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Development
• Design, build, and maintain features across the full IBEAM stack including Blazor UI components, RESTful APIs, case lifecycle workflows, fee automation logic, lender and marketplace configuration, and business rule engines.
• Develop and maintain interactive Blazor components and pages, ensuring a responsive, reliable user experience for lender clients and internal operations staff.
• Contribute to AI integrations within IBEAM including LLM-based workflows and ML model APIs to support intelligent case processing such as document analysis, asset scoring, and address parsing.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs consumed by both the IBEAM frontend and external client integrations; consume and integrate both internal and external APIs across the platform.
• Implement and extend event-driven messaging pipelines using Azure Service Bus and MassTransit, handling fee approvals, case state transitions, and automated queue management.
• Build and maintain integrations with internal systems and external platforms—covering mapping, validation, error handling, and retry logic.
• Develop and maintain Hangfire-scheduled background jobs for automated processing workflows.
• Write clean, testable, well-documented C# code and participate actively in code reviews.
• Triage and resolving production issues in collaboration with support and operations teams.
Architecture amp; Engineering Quality
• Own and lead architecture discussions, designing scalable, performant, and resilient software solutions in a cloud-native Azure environment.
• Treat data as a first-class citizen design data-centric architectures that support secure transport, storage, and downstream analytics.
• Champion a quality-first approach: implement unit tests, automation frameworks, and robust functional testing; enforce standards through code, security, and design reviews.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar) to enhance productivity and code quality.
• Drive CI/CD pipeline improvements and sound deployment strategies in Azure DevOps.
• Partner with the Data Scientist to expose clean, reliable data from IBEAM’s SQL Server databases for analytical use.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks in queries, APIs, and background processing.
Collaboration amp; Leadership
• Work within an Agile/Scrum team, contributing to sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.
• Mentor junior developers and help establish engineering standards.
• Document technical decisions, integration specifications, and system design in Confluence.
• Participate in on-call rotation and production support as needed.
Job Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with demonstrated ownership of production .NET systems.
• Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem (.NET Core / .NET 6+).
• Experience with Blazor, Razor Pages, or a comparable .NET-based frontend framework; willingness to work in Blazor is expected.
• Proven ability to design and implement RESTful APIs, as well as consume and integrate third-party REST APIs.
• Strong architectural design skills, with experience building scalable, distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL, query optimization, schema design, stored procedures, and data modeling in a high-volume transaction environment.
• Experience with source code versioning, configuration management, and automated build pipelines.
• Comfort using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude or GitHub Copilot to accelerate development and improve code quality.
• Experience working in Agile teams with Jira, Confluence, or equivalent tooling.
• Strong communication skills, able to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
• Familiarity with integrating AI services into production applications—such as LLM APIs, ML model endpoints, or cloud AI platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
• Experience with a message broker framework such as Azure Service Bus, MassTransit, RabbitMQ, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with Blazor Server or WebAssembly in a production environment.
• Experience with case management, workflow automation, or operational SaaS platforms.
• Experience with Entity Framework Core or Dapper for data access.
• Familiarity with multi-tenant SaaS architecture and tenant-specific configuration patterns.
