The Application Development Senior Advisor is EDI full stack engineer who designs, develops, and integrates solutions to solve business and technical requirements across EDI applications. Candidate must be passionate about technology, writing code and solving problems; able to work both independently and in close partnership with cross-functional teams and management; a motivated team member who enjoys learning and sharing knowledge.
 
 
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
Design, develop, and maintain high quality software
Write clean, secure, efficient, and modular code
Simplify and improve existing application code ensuring high unit test coverage
Identify potential problems and resolve application bottlenecks
Collaborate with Product Owners, Quality Engineers, Scrum Masters, and Software Engineers on your team as well as external teams to deliver value to our customers
Maintain knowledge of current and emerging technologies, industry trends and standards
Provide mentoring to junior engineers
 
 
Required Experience / Qualifications:  
 
7+ years of software development experience with a successful track record of production ready solutions
Deep understanding of all things “*database”*- *schema design, optimization, scalability, etc.*
*Experience with database technologies such as MySQL, Teradata, MongoDB*
Experience with continuous integration and source code control such as GitLab, GitHub, TFS.
*Proficient in EDI applications: Edifecs v9.1, BizTalk 2016, SSIS,* and their components
Working knowledge of X12N transactions, HL7 messages, and FHIR
WCF, Web Services, Java, C#, .NET framework, SQL/SSIS *development related to EDI*
API Apps, API Management Portal
Visual Studio Team Foundation Server (VSTFS)
MS SQL Servers 2012, 2014, 2016 
System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), SCOM 
 
 
Desired Experience / Qualifications:
