Job description

The Leidos team is seeking a Senior Power BI and Power Automate Developer to join a critical DoW program. The Senior Power BI and Power Automate Developer will play a critical role in designing and developing advanced business intelligence solutions supporting the customer's mission. In this role, it will help with analytics across the unclassified network environment. This role also entails building analytic data models, semantic layers, and optimized query structures using Databricks SQL, Spark SQL, and Power BI.Security clearance level: TS/SCIJob duties:· Prototyping, designing, developing, and publishing Power BI Reports, developing Power BI Data models, and recommending best practices for report creation and visualizations.· Develops automated reporting frameworks that leverage mission telemetry, operational readiness indicators, pipeline performance metrics, and tool utilization signals.· Develop dashboards with drill-down analytics, predictive components, and alerting pathways connected to Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, SolarWinds, ServiceNow, MS Project, and Splunk.· Leads data quality analytics by performing source-to-target validation, statistical profiling, completeness scoring, drift detection, and anomaly triage.· Collaborates with engineering, cybersecurity, and governance teams to validate data integrity controls, encryption policies, and access mechanisms.· Produces analytic specifications, metric dictionaries, and test protocols that guide downstream implementation.· Conducts training for analysts and mission partners to elevate enterprise analytic literacy.· Drives continual modernization through evaluation of new BI tools, visualization enhancements, federated catalog integrations, and automated analytic workflows.· Collaborate with Business Analysts to gather business requirements for analytics and reporting.· Troubleshoot reporting issues and tune report performance.· Create and modify database tables and views. Review plans to optimize SQL queries.· Responsible for implementing security on developed Dashboards in accordance with security and access requirements.· Ensure agile/scrum practices are followed during the development process.· Evaluate self-service reporting and dashboard tool.· Responsible for estimating work content and achieving planned timelines.Required Skills:· Experience in Business Analytics tools, developing Reporting and Dashboards.· Experience in Reporting and Analytics using Power BI - M Query, DAX, Data Modelling, Row Level Security.· Experience in database technologies and strong SQL query writing skills, preferably SQL Server.· Analytical thinking for converting data into relevant reports and graphics.· Understanding of how to implement solutions with multiple data sources.· Experience working with Agile methodology and a self-starter who can quickly acclimate to a dynamic environment.Preferred Skills:· Strong foundational knowledge of the Microsoft 365 platform, including AWS and the Azure ecosystem.· Demonstrate an understanding of security concepts, including access control and data security.· Subject Matter Expert in visualization, Power BI, and Power Automate.· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.· Multi-task effectively between projects.· Ability to work independently and cooperatively as part of a team.· Must possess analytical and complex problem-solving skills.Education: BS in Computer or Data Science or related field.Experience: 10+ years of related experienceSecurity clearance level: TS/SCI, US citizenship required  Trillion is an equal opportunity employer.
