The Department of Management's Division of Information Technology (DoIT) is seeking a highly skilled Senior .NET Developers to join our team. This position provides an excellent opportunity to contribute within a mission-focused organization, supporting Department of Education applications and stakeholders through a comprehensive suite of data collection and reporting tools.
As a vital member of our team, you will play a key role in advancing our DevOps initiatives and delivering secure, high-quality technical solutions for our customers. The position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance development practices and automate pipelines that accommodate substantial data volumes. This remote position requires attendance during standard business hours Monday through Friday, with on-site presence strongly preferred.
As a Senior .NET Developer, your responsibilities will include:
• Designing and implementing scalable DevOps processes to support the development and deployment of enterprise-level applications.
• Leading automation, CI/CD, and cloud technology initiatives, including centralizing code repositories within GitHub or Azure DevOps to streamline workflows.
• Evaluating and enhancing coding practices by integrating automated scanning tools to uphold rigorous standards of code quality and security.
• Proactively managing technical debt and driving continuous improvement throughout development cycles.
• Optimizing processes related to code branching, merging, and releasing to ensure seamless and efficient deployments.
