Key Responsibilities

1. Azure Architecture & Design

  • Lead enterprise-level Azure architecture across landing zones, identity, networking, security, governance, observability, and workload architecture.

2. Program Delivery Leadership

  • Provide architectural oversight for large-scale Azure transformation projects (migration, modernization, platform builds).
  • Ensure technical integrity, risk mitigation, and alignment with enterprise patterns.

3. Security, Governance & Compliance

  • Define security baselines, RBAC models, IAM controls, encryption, network segmentation, logging, monitoring, and data protection.
  • Govern alignment with industry frameworks: SOC2, ISO27001, CIS, NIST, HIPAA, PCI, etc.
  • Ensure adherence to Azure Policy, Defender for Cloud, and organizational compliance standards.

4. Customer Engagement & Advisory

  • Drive architectural decision-making, trade-off discussions, and roadmap alignment.
  • Support presales at SME capacity: estimation, solutioning, and SOW definition for new engagements.

5. Delivery Excellence & Coaching

  • Provide end-to-end technical leadership throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Mentor and upskill engineers and jr. architects within the Azure practice.
  • Contribute to internal accelerators, frameworks, best practices, and reusable templates.
