Simulation Operator - Autonomous Vehicle Testing (Controller/Joystick-Based)

Location:
On-site - Austin TX
Job Type Rotating shifts, including weekends: 1st shift 6:00am - 2:00pm; 2nd shift 2:30pm - 11:00pm
Pay:
$24.00-$28.00 per hour
About the Role:

We're seeking tech-savvy individuals with quick reflexes and a passion for technology or gaming to operate high-fidelity driving simulation systems. This role is critical in supporting the development and safety testing of autonomous vehicle systems.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate driving simulators using joysticks or gaming-style controllers in real-time testing environments
  • Respond rapidly to simulated driving events with precision and accuracy
  • Monitor and log system behavior, reporting issues or anomalies to engineering teams
  • Assist with ongoing simulation tasks that help train and validate autonomous vehicle technologies
  • Follow detailed protocols and maintain focus during extended test sessions

What You Bring:
  • Proficiency with gaming controllers (e.g., Xbox, PlayStation, PC joystick)
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and fast reaction time
  • Basic computer literacy and a strong technical aptitude
  • Reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or in a team
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to process accuracy

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with simulators, QA testing, or esports
