The Project: 

Mace, as part of MPA delivery partner joint venture of Mace-Parsons-Arcadis, have been selected as the Gateway Development Commissions partners of choice to support the GDC across the Gateway Program in New York, inclusive of the Hudson Tunnel Project.

The busiest rail connection between New York, New Jersey, and the Northeast Corridor, the Hudson Tunnel Project will improve capacity, reliability, and resiliency of commuter and intercity rail transit serving 800,000 daily passengers from Washington, D.C. to New York and New England. A milestone project supported by the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), the project is slated to receive nearly $12 billion in federal funding, the largest investment in a mass transit project in modern history.

You'll Be Responsible For: 

  • Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using specialized software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar tools, considering all project activities, dependencies, and constraints.

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to establish project requirements, milestones, and critical path activities to create an accurate and feasible project schedule.

  • Perform schedule analysis, including critical path analysis, schedule risk assessments, and resource leveling, to identify potential schedule delays, conflicts, and opportunities for optimization.

  • Provide insights and recommendations based on schedule data analysis to support decision-making, mitigate risks, and ensure project objectives are achieved within established timelines and budget constraints.

  • Monitor schedule performance, track progress against key milestones, and report on project schedule status, deviations, and variances to project teams and stakeholders.

  • Prepare schedule reports, graphical presentations, and visual representations of project schedules for project meetings, progress reviews, and presentations to senior management.

  • Support the development of baseline schedules, progress measurement methodologies, and earned value analysis to evaluate project performance and project schedule adherence.

You'll need to have:

  • 5-7 years experience in similar roles.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

  • Proven experience as a Scheduler or Scheduler Analyst in large construction projects, with a focus on tunneling or infrastructure projects.

  • Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent tools.

  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret complex project schedules and data.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills to work effectively with project teams and stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of project management principles, scheduling best practices, and construction methodologies.
    Note: The estimated starting salary for this position is $150k. Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills and qualifications.
