Job Description:

As Senior Associate, Program Management, the successful candidate will be responsible for planning and execution, including cost, schedule and performance, of various programs. The candidate will coordinate directly with customers, manage the internal Integrated Product Team (IPT) and communicate status with site leadership. The general role and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Essential Functions:

  • Manage rapid and evolving programs of substantial importance to the organization with minimal oversight or direction.
  • Drive program execution to achieve key business and financial objectives for orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow for new, continuing, or current programs.
  • Develop and manage program plans, schedules and budgets in accordance with contractual baselines.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams including design, manufacturing and quality, along with contracts, procurement and finance, to ensure program success.
  • Manage customer expectations, customer satisfaction and customer driven scope changes.
  • Lead program meetings and customer reviews.
  • Generate program documentation, such as reports, presentations and/or data in accordance with contract requirements.
  • Identify and communicate risk and opportunities, including the implementation of corrective actions, as required.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Review and understand customer Requests for Proposals (RFPs), including technical specifications, Statements of Work and associated requirements, and support the development of proposals to capture new business opportunities.
  • Five percent (5%) travel will be required to customers and/or suppliers to support program objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience in the aerospace and/or defense industry, in U.S. Government, commercial and international market segments.
  • Experience supporting programs that are both Firm Fixed Price and Cost Plus.
  • ARDE products are designed to aggressive structural margins; therefore, a background working in structures and Materials and Processes (M&P) engineering for metal and composite structures is preferred.
  • Candidate must have a good understanding of how programs, design engineering, quality and manufacturing work cohesively in a small company environment in short cycle development, qualification and production build cycles.
  • Experience in an AS9100 registered organization.
  • Experience coordinating with Global Trade Compliance and understanding U.S. export regulations.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification along with previous experience utilizing earned value metrics.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New Jersey is $80,500 to $149,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
