Aspire Oshkosh is currently seeking caring, compassionate, Caregivers, CNAs, PCWs, Resident Assistant and Med Passers to provide quality care to residents in an environment that promotes their rights, dignity, freedom of choice, and individuality. Essential Duties, Responsibilities & Functions and Education & Qualifications (including but not limited to):
  • Read and understand individualized service plans (ISPs) for each resident and provide support to the residents per their service plan
  • Attend to residents' individual needs, including assistance with grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, eating, incontinence care, toileting, colostomy care, prosthetic appliances, transferring, ambulating, range of motion, communicating or other care needs as identified by residents' ISP
  • Promptly answer and courteously respond to residents' pages and alarms
  • Perform various tasks as assigned, including providing resident care, administering medications (if med passer and delegated by RN), checking vital signs, collecting specimens, laundry, cleaning, dining room set up in a timely manner, etc.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Must be able to frequently lift, move, push or pull objects 50-100lbs; regularly required to stand or walk for long periods of time, frequent bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing and lifting; ability to sit, stand, walk, and kneel occasionally throughout a workday
  • Ability to speak, write, and read English
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • CNA certification desirable, but not required; completion of CBRF courses desirable, but not required
  • Must submit and pass all applicable pre-employment and annual tests and meet all training and other applicable state and federal regulations
