Job Summary:This is a customer facing position reporting directly to the Application Services Director. As a Senior Applications consultant youll have the opportunity to use and expand the skills developed through your education and professional experience. Youll work in dynamic teams with other high-energy professionals to help our customers transform their businesses. You should have a passion for manufacturing, technology, and an interest in solving real business problems.
You will have direct responsibility for supporting our customers business needs that include, but are not limited to software implementation, training and/or optimization of Visual Manufacturing. In this position, you will work with our customers to help improve key performance measurements while making recommendations on products, services, and techniques, as well as helping to identify opportunities for efficiency gains through process improvement and automation to help improve their overall business performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Translate business requirements into solutions.
Collaborate with internal and external teams to implement Visual and other products.
Support and troubleshoot customer issues related to Visual and other products.
Work on multiple projects both internally and externally
Plan and execute assigned tasks.
Extend engagements where possible.
Drive efforts to significantly improve the performance of customers processes.
Support company policies and strategic plans
Deliver assigned work and achieve your weekly billing goals.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Knowledge and experience with the implementation of ERP is required.
ERP knowledge of the quote to cash process is beneficial.
Familiarity with SQL and SQL Reporting tools is beneficial.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Proficiency with video conferencing software like Microsoft Team, GoTo Meeting, or Zoom
Strong presentation, training, and public speaking skills
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
Troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Influence clients to reach consensus around common goals.
Train and provide consultant to client with varying skill sets.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree in engineering or business from an accredited university preferred.
Certifications in Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Lean, and Six Sigma preferred.
5 -10 years Management-level experience in manufacturing preferred
1-3 years of direct hands-on experience with Visual Manufacturing preferred.
2-4 years experience implementing and maintaining software in a manufacturing environment beneficial.
Prior consulting experience a plus
REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to travel up to 50-60%, within the USA.
Must be legally eligible to work in the USA on a permanent basis without sponsorship.
