Work Requirement: No SC residency required. Candidate must reside in lower 48 states (Continental US) and comfortable working EST time zone hours.
Project Scope:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Application Developer to support the maintenance, enhancement, and operational stability of enterprise case management and juror management systems built on a CA Plex (model-driven) platform.
This role is critical in ensuring business continuity for mission-critical systems, while supporting integrations, improving data quality, and maintaining performance as part of ongoing modernization efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Application Maintenance & Support
  • Maintain andsupport CA Plex-based applications across multiple environments
  • Troubleshootproduction issues, defects, and data anomalies
  • Perform rootcause analysis and implement long-term fixes
  • Providesupport for critical system issues as needed

Enhancements & Business Logic Updates
  • Design andimplement enhancements within the CA Plex model
  • Modify:
    • Businessrules
    • Screensand workflows
    • Batchprocesses and reports
  • Ensureupdates align with business and regulatory requirements

CA Plex Development
  • Work withinthe CA Plex development environment to update objects and functions
  • Regenerateand deploy application components
  • Maintainintegrity of model-driven architecture

Database & Data Management
  • Develop andoptimize SQL Server (T-SQL) queries and stored procedures
  • Perform datacorrections and data integrity checks
  • Tuneperformance for large-scale datasets

System Integration Support
  • Maintainintegrations with internal and external systems
  • Supporttransition from legacy interfaces to API-based integrations
  • Ensure dataconsistency across systems

Reporting & Data Support
  • Developqueries and data extracts for reporting
  • Support datafeeds into data warehouse environments
  • Collaboratewith analytics teams to ensure data accuracy

Collaboration & Documentation
  • Work withbusiness users and technical teams to deliver solutions
  • Documentsystem changes, business rules, and technical processes
  • Supportknowledge transfer to internal teams

Required Skills & Experience:
• 12+ years of application development experience
• 7+ years of experience with CA Plex or similar 4GL/model-driven environments
• 7+ years of experience with SQL Server / T-SQL
• 7+ years of experience maintaining legacy or enterprise systems
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with data warehouse architecture (star/snowflake schema)
• Knowledge of Power BI backend optimization
• Familiarity with .NET data access patterns
• Experience with Always On Availability Groups
• Exposure to Azure DevOps
• Familiarity with security tools (e.g., WAF solutions)
• Experience working with large-scale legacy data environments
Education:
