Job description

Summary
All Native Group, a division of Ho Chunk Incorporated, is seeking a Senior Application Developer to support a Federal Agency enterprise data management program. Working within the SearchPlus and application development team, the Senior Application Developer designs, builds, and maintains enterprise web applications and search capabilities that serve a user base of approximately 12,000 and integrate with large-scale cloud data stores. This vacancy is for proposed work, and any offer of employment would be contingent upon award.
Essential Functions
  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications using ASP.NET C# MVC and modern front-end frameworks.
  • Develop and enhance application or enterprise search capabilities, including integration with ElasticSearch / AWS OpenSearch.
  • Build and maintain decoupled application components leveraging message queuing.
  • Develop responsive user interfaces using React.js or Angular.
  • Support application integration with large-scale data stores and enterprise data warehouse environments.
  • Participate in Agile development, including sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous delivery.
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and document application performance and reliability.

Competencies
  • 8+ years of software and web development experience.
  • 5+ years of ASP.NET C# MVC based web development using Visual Studio 2019 or higher.
  • 5+ years of experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with Application or Enterprise Search; ElasticSearch / AWS OpenSearch experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with decoupled application development leveraging message queuing.
  • 2+ years of React.js or Angular experience.
  • 1+ years of ASP.NET Core experience using Visual Studio 2019 or higher.'
  • Experience developing against cloud-hosted, high-availability search clusters.
  • Experience supporting federal or mission-critical enterprise applications.
