Description
SAIC is seeking a highly experienced Senior Java Developer with strong Agile Product Management capabilities and hands-on experience supporting ERP and COTS Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), with IFS ERP strongly preferred. This hybrid role requires a technical leader who can drive product vision, translate mission needs into actionable requirements, and deliver scalable enterprise solutions within an Agile environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Java applications using Spring and Hibernate
  • Serve as Agile Product Manager, defining product vision, roadmap, and priorities
  • Translate stakeholders' needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items
  • Integrate, extend, and support IFS ERP and COTS Warehouse Management Systems
  • Use Git for version control and Jira/Confluence for Agile planning and documentation
  • Oversee sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release management
  • Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship

Qualifications
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in an Agile environment
  • Senior-level Java development (Spring, Hibernate, REST, microservices)
  • Hands-on experience with IFS ERP (preferred) and COTS Warehouse Management Systems
  • Proficiency with Git, Jira, and Confluence
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interface with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Typical Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's and nine (9) years or more experience; master's and seven (7) years or more experience; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience
