Job description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled SAP BTP Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and a strong understanding of SAP’s cloud offerings. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, integrating, and deploying cloud applications using SAP BTP. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design solutions that improve business processes, optimize system performance, and help clients in their digital transformation journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, deploy, and maintain applications on SAP BTP.
  • Integrate SAP BTP solutions with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, and other SAP systems.
  • Design and implement extensions using SAP Business Application Studio, SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP), and SAP Fiori/UI5.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Utilize SAP BTP services such as SAP Integration Suite, SAP Extension Suite, SAP Mobile Services, and others to create scalable and efficient cloud solutions.
  • Ensure seamless integration of BTP applications with third-party solutions using API Management and other SAP BTP integration tools.
  • Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot SAP BTP applications to ensure high performance and availability.
  • Work in an agile environment and contribute to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP BTP innovations and best practices.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in SAP development with at least 2 years focused on SAP BTP.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Business Application Studio, SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP), and SAP Fiori/UI5.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, and SAP HANA Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of SAP BTP services including SAP Integration Suite, SAP Extension Suite, and API Management.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA and integration between SAP BTP and on-premise/cloud SAP systems.
  • Knowledge of OData Services, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with cloud security, data management, and DevOps processes.
