SUMMARY
The Corporate Development Senior Analyst is responsible for supporting the bank's corporate development function. This position will develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and conduct competitive analysis to improve the bank's financial performance. Additionally, this position will assist in the identification and execution of M&A and divestiture activity, including supporting the due diligence process and also supports certain investor relations functions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops and maintains financial models to evaluate potential strategic, M&A, or divestiture opportunities.
  • Assists in the competitive intelligence process to understand industry trends and the competitive landscape and identify performance gaps compared to peers.
  • Assists in the development and execution of the bank's strategic plan, including segment and line of business strategies.
  • Assists in the development and execution of new business opportunities.
  • Assists with branch analytics framework, providing management with a comprehensive view of market performance and opportunities.
  • Prepares presentations and reports for senior and executive management.
  • Assists in certain investor relations functions including supporting development of guidance, investor deck presentation, and other support as requested.
  • Assists in the due diligence activities.
  • Assists with the development and preparation of reporting around key strategic initiatives.
  • Provides guidance to less experienced staff and leads certain projects.
  • Develops effective business relationships within the bank.
  • Conducts comprehensive market, competitive, and product analyses to identify growth opportunities, assess emerging industry trends, evaluate competitive positioning, and support strategic decision-making across business lines

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field required
  • Master's Degree in Business or related field preferred
  • 3-5 years related experience, training, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience required


LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) preferred

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
We offer a competitive total compensation package including base salary and benefits. The anticipated pay range for this position is $91,300.00 to $150,700.00 per year (in CO & WA) and depends on a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills and experience, education, and geographic location. Additionally, this role is eligible to receive annual discretionary cash bonuses. Benefits available for this position include, but are not limited to, medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability benefits and life insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings account, employee assistance program, 401(k), Paid Time Off (new hires accrue at .069 per hours worked which equates to approximately 18 days per year inclusive of paid sick time) and up to 11 paid Federal holidays. Please note this information is provided for those hired in Colorado and Washington only, and this role is open to candidates outside of Colorado and Washington with compensation that aligns with your location.
