Job description

Do you enjoy working outdoors in a high energy environment all while helping children grow and step outside their comfort zone? Join our team as an Archery Instructor at the Twin Lakes Family YMCA in Cedar Park!

Archery Instructors facilitate a powerful learning opportunity for participants of all ages at the Archery Range during our evening Archery Classes and Leagues or during daytime summer camps at Camp Twin Lakes. Classes typically run on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. Some seasons, we offer additional classes on Saturday mornings, and there is potential for additional work helping our overnight and outdoor education groups with daytime archery activity rotations, if interested.

We are offering $260 bonus for new staff!

Essential Functions:

  • Safely facilitate a wide range of archery elements
  • Inspect equipment and hardware daily
  • Document equipment usage reporting any issues to supervisor
  • Exhibit teamwork and good communication with fellow Staff and other Camp Staff
  • Process experience through debriefing in a group setting

Skills/ Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Previous Archery experience required
  • Certified USA Archery Instructor (level 1 or higher)
  • Ability and willingness to work outside
  • Able to pass a background check and drug test

Pay Rate: $17.00 - $19.00/hour
