Located in Columbus, Nebraska, Brookestone Acres is designed for seniors needing either short-term rehabilitation or skilled nursing services. At Brookestone Acres, we have a culture of rehabilitation and overall improvement of health. Our residents and patients are served by team members trained to meet the unique and specialized needs of each individual.

Our team is dedicated to encouraging and motivating our patients to excel in therapy and regain daily life skills.

You will help plan and facilitate group programming, one on one interventions, etc to enhance quality of life.
Professional Qualifications:
Verbal communication skills are important to carry on conversations with residents, team members and visitors in an understandable manner. Written communication is also important for necessary documentation. Life Enrichment Assistants are willing to participate in educational sessions, in-service training, and demonstrations

Be able to drive and transport residents with company vehicle.
* Basic knowledge of computers and iPads including Microsoft Word, Excel, and video calls
* The ability to be flexible and adapt to changes in daily scheduling to meet the needs of residents, call-ins or vacation time
* A positive outlook focusing on teamwork, integrity and collaborating with all departments and a "Yes I Can" attitude.
* Current CNA license or willingness to obtain
* Clean driving record- being able to transport residents in facility vehicle.
Physical Requirements:
Life Enrichment Assistants understand the physical demands their jobs require and realize they need to:
* pass a physical exam
* lift, push, pull and move equipment, supplies, etc.
* lift a maximum of fifty (50) pounds occasionally.
* lift twenty-five (25) pounds consistently.
* be able to move and stretch in such a way as to be able to reach areas above their head and below their waist.
* go up and down stairs
* bend, stoop and twist almost constantly throughout the day.
* see and hear well enough to answer phones, greet people and read
* remain active and on their feet for up to four (4) hours at a time.
* be able to drive a vehicle.
