LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with one of our clients in the East Bay and they are looking to add a Senior Accountant for their office located in Emeryville, California. This position is hybrid and will be in-office 3 days a week. The candidate should have 5 years of experience as a senior accounting professional. The role will be responsible for working in the general ledger with a focus on the organizations inventory, performing month-end close activities including the preparation of journal entries, inventory reconciliations, process manually inventory transfer transactions, accounts reconciliations, perform accounts analysis on the general ledger detail, and assist with other duties and projects as assigned. Qualifications for the job include: - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or related field is required - Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) - Retail or Consumer package good industry experience would be nice to have - Software experience with SAP would be ideal but experience with a large ERP system is required - Able to work well independently and within a team - Attention to detail, problem-solver, analytical, and organized - Strong communications (written & verbal) and customer service - Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel - Advanced, Word & Outlook) Employment Type: Temporary 6 months If you are interested in this or other job opportunities available through LHH Recruitment, please submit your resume today at www.LHH.com !
