To ensure the department runs smoothly, you train your staff thoroughly and monitor all transactions.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a senior accountant, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Senior Accountant, you need strong analytical abilities, advanced knowledge of accounting principles, and a relevant degree such as a bachelor's in accounting or finance, often accompanied by a CPA certification.
