Controller - Casa Grande, AZ (On-Site, Full-Time)
Compensation: $85,000 - $90,000
Seeking a hands-on Controller to lead all accounting operations for a new branch in Casa Grande, AZ. This role will oversee one legal entity and manage the full accounting function in a small, growing environment. This is a full-time, fully in-office position with a negotiable start time and strong long-term growth potential.
Key Responsibilities
• Own full-cycle general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Oversee payroll for approximately 13 employees (warehouse staff and an admin who processes payroll)
• Lead month-end and year-end close, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Prepare financial reports for leadership and meet/exceed reporting deadlines
• Identify and implement process improvements to support scalability
• Assist with building and expanding the accounting team as the branch grows
Qualifications
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• Strong full-cycle GL accounting experience required
• Hands-on experience with AP, AR, and payroll oversight
• Proven ability to independently manage month-end and year-end close
• NetSuite experience required
• Ability to work autonomously and manage all accounting functions independently
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
• Comfortable working in a small, fully in-office environment
