Job description

Description:

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for ensuring accuracy at the “front gate” of the Company’s operation. They will make sure all incoming materials are correctly handled and received and will also guarantee every item leaving the facility is properly packaged and sent.


Accountable For

• Receiving packages quickly as they arrive and performing inspections to verify records on file.

• Continuously placing items into inventory throughout the day to ensure warehouse organization and safety.

• Picking and staging individual components from inventory for Fabricators to use in the building of equipment.

• Packing items to guarantee safe travel to customers and verifying correct addresses to shipping locations.

• Entering transactional information into the company’s ERP system.

• Building custom crates for fabricated items ready to be shipped.

Requirements:

• Education / Work Experience: High school diploma or GED with 1-2 years of relevant work experience.

• Basic proficiency with computers. ERP experience is a plus.

• Familiarity with FedEx and UPS software.

• Experience and comfortability with basic hand/power tools. Ability to read blueprints is a plus.

• Working knowledge of shop math and ability to use measuring tools.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Reliable transportation and availability to work required schedule.
