Account Manager/Technical Manager (6716) Overview of Role

This role operates as an Account Manager based in San Jose, CA. You will manage several product lines for key accounts, including business and customer relationships. You will report to the Director of Account Management. The ideal candidate will create and execute sales plans to generate sustainable growth and drive customer satisfaction. TSMC is currently operating in a hybrid work schedule with 4 days in office.

Responsibilities
  • Develop customer relationships that includes C-level executives
  • Set strategic pricing and business solutions for silicon wafer, testing, assembly and advanced packaging
  • Negotiate and provide quotes to close sales that drive revenue and profitability
  • Establish and manage collaborations on technical/cost-effective solutions to meet customer’s needs and TSMC’s goal
  • Collaborate within the account team and cross-functional teams on both business and technical issues with tangible actions for account strategy alignment
  • Drive demand creation including demand forecast and order fulfillment
  • Perform market and cost analysis to guide clients on the appropriate solutions
  • Provide business analysis and written briefings for the Account Director and VP
Minimum Qualifications
  • BS/MS degree in engineering, business or science
  • 12+ years of combined experience in Sales, Marketing, Business Development or Foundry Management in semiconductor industry
  • Good knowledge of advanced semiconductor technology, process, and operations including test and product engineering
  • Strong customer orientation and communication skills (written and presentation)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office especially Excel
  • Proficiency in reading/analyzing financial statements
  • Ability to travel (international and domestic) up to 15% in a year
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual in Mandarin and English is preferred
  • MBA concentration in Accounting, Economics or Finance
  • Experience in IC circuit design, process technology, product engineeringor advanced packaging
  • Ability toanalyzing financial data and presenting it in a clear and concise mannerTrack record that illustrates ability to learn new skills
  • Experience working with legal teams on business and technology contracts
  • Ability to work independently and as a team in a very fast-paced environment
  • Proven Track record of meeting sales goals and building long-term customer relationship

At TSMC, your base pay is only part of your overall total compensation package. At the time of this posting, this role typically pays an annual base salary between $140,000 and $185,000 per year. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires. Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range. Factors that influence pay include the individual's skills, qualifications, education, experience and the position level and location.
