Position Summary
Trackonomy is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Production Operators to support second shift manufacturing operations at our North Carolina facility. Operators will be responsible for producing RFID labels and smart tracking products while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, productivity, and accuracy.
This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, can follow detailed processes, and take pride in producing high-quality products in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate manufacturing equipment used in the production of RFID labels and smart tracking products
  • Follow work instructions, production procedures, and quality standards
  • Inspect products for quality and identify defects or production issues
  • Load materials, monitor production runs, and perform basic equipment adjustments
  • Accurately complete production documentation and reporting
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Support inventory movement and material handling as needed
  • Escalate equipment, quality, or safety concerns to supervisors promptly
  • Meet daily production and throughput goals while maintaining quality standards
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors, operators, engineers, and quality personnel
  • Participate in training and continuous improvement activities
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior manufacturing, warehouse, assembly, production, or machine operator experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized processes
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Basic math and reading comprehension skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in electronics, printing, labels, semiconductor, medical device, or high-volume manufacturing environments
  • Experience working with automated or semi-automated equipment
  • Familiarity with quality inspection processes
  • Basic computer skills and experience entering production data
  • Forklift certification is a plus
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts
  • Ability to lift and move materials up to 35 pounds
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand movements and visual inspections
