Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Semiconductor Wafer Technician (Night Shift) in Chandler, AZ. The schedule is night shift/compressed work week. We are working directly with the Hiring Manager.
Summary:
This role supports fab operations by running, qualifying, and monitoring production equipment used to manufacture advanced semiconductor products.
Responsibilities:
* Verify lot and tool status to ensure production readiness
* Run production lots and equipment qualifications
* Analyze qualification data and monitor process performance
* Execute out-of-control action plans (OCAPs) and process adjustments as directed
* Perform routine preventative maintenance and minor equipment troubleshooting
* Support continuous improvement initiatives within the fab environment
* Follow all safety procedures while working around sensitive equipment and hazardous chemicals
REQUIREMENTS:
* Associate degree in Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
* At least 5+ years of semiconductor manufacturing experience
* Experience operating semiconductor manufacturing equipment
* Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
* Effective communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
Preferred Experience:
* AMAT Endura, Centura, Producer, Mirra Mesa, Gasonics Ashers, KLA Metrology, Diffusion, Electroplating, or Clean tools
* Experience across multiple semiconductor disciplines such as any of the following: CMP, Photolithography, CVD, Film/Metal, Asher, Diffusion, Prober, Dispatch, etc.

* Cross-trained on multiple semiconductor toolsets rather than a single platform
* Eager to learn new equipment and processes
* Thrives in a hands-on manufacturing environment and is motivated to grow their career

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
