Job description

Are you passionate about ensuring the reliability and performance of advanced semiconductor technologies? At Falcomm, we are transforming innovative semiconductor research into real-world solutions through high-performance, energy-efficient RF power amplifier technologies. Our mission is to deliver reliable, high-efficiency wireless solutions that enable the next generation of communication systems.

Falcomm is seeking an RFIC Reliability Engineer to lead reliability analysis and qualification activities for RF integrated circuits and semiconductor products. This role will focus on evaluating device reliability, identifying failure mechanisms, and developing testing methodologies to ensure long-term performance and robustness of RFIC technologies. The position requires close collaboration with RFIC designers, process engineers, packaging teams, and manufacturing partners to support product development from early design through production.

Responsibilities:
  • Conducting reliability modeling for all RFIC designs using validated device degradation models (e.g., HCI, BTI, EM).
  • Analyze device degradation mechanisms and perform failure analysis to identify root causes of reliability issues.
  • Define and execute reliability qualification plans including stress testing, accelerated life testing, and environmental testing.
  • Develop and implement reliability testing strategies for RFIC devices and semiconductor products.
  • Collaborate with RFIC design, packaging, and manufacturing teams to improve product reliability and robustness.
  • Review design and process changes to assess potential reliability impacts.
  • Support silicon bring-up, characterization, and long-term reliability validation.
  • Document reliability methodologies, test results, and qualification reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years reliability engineering experience.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor device physics and reliability mechanisms.
  • Must be willing to work full-time, onsite, in Atlanta, GA.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with RFIC technologies such as SOI and GaN.
  • Experience using tools such as Cadence RelXpert and Voltus-Fi for device reliability and peak metal temperatures
  • Knowledge of semiconductor reliability testing methods including HTOL, HAST, electromigration, and thermal cycling.
  • Experience with failure analysis techniques and reliability modeling.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to work across engineering teams.

Benefits

  • Competitive Salary and Equity Package
  • Comprehensive Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance
  • 401(k) Retirement Plan
  • Paid Time Off (PTO) and Sick Leave
