We are currently looking for a Registered Nurse for our MMH 7 Unit. This 24 bed unit provides a dynamic working environment that specializes in gynecology, sarcoma, thoracic, breast, and plastic surgery patients. Our nursing staff provides knowledgeable and skilled care within a unique interdisciplinary team. We offer quarterly educational workshops.

Position Highlights:

• The Registered Nurse delivers individualized quality nursing care to cancer patients and families in accordance with established hospital guidelines, nursing professional practice model, nursing care standards and policies and in accordance with ANA code of ethics and external regulatory agencies.

• Registered Nurses use the nursing process to effectively plan and manage quality patient care. Biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, educational and discharge planning needs are addressed in all steps of the nursing process.

The Ideal Candidate:

• The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
• 1 year of inpatient hospital experience
• Medical Surgery experience as a registered nurse
• Good customer service for patient interaction

Responsibilities:

• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate the care of cancer patients and families. Integrates patient and family centered care and the quality caring factors into practice
• Identifies, documents, and provides patient education based on learning needs of the patient
• Participates in Evidence based improvement activities related to area of practice
• Participates in professional development based on the nursing professionals standards, regulatory requirements, and job expectations

Credentials and Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). In lieu of Bachelors, an Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) plus 1 year of relevant experience may be considered.
• Registered Nurse (RN) - current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of FL.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Salary Range: $35.05 - $52.56

Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role. Actual compensation may vary based on location and a variety of job-related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among Team Members in similar positions.
