Overview:
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in Guidewire applications (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter). The ideal candidate will have a background in automation frameworks, API testing, and insurance domain knowledge, ensuring high-quality software delivery across multiple Guidewire modules.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts for Guidewire applications (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter).
  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing using automation tools.
  • Work with Selenium, Java, Cucumber, TestNG, and Rest Assured for UI and API testing.
  • Develop and maintain reusable automation frameworks aligned with project goals.
  • Analyze business and functional requirements to determine test scenarios and coverage.
  • Execute automated and manual test cases, track defects, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of QA experience, with at least 2-3 years in Guidewire testing (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter).
  • Strong experience with Java, Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, and Maven/Gradle.
  • Hands-on experience in API testing (Rest Assured, Postman, SoapUI).
  • Familiarity with Guidewire configurations and integrations.
  • Experience with JIRA, qTest, ALM, or similar test management tools.
  • Knowledge of insurance domain workflows (policy, billing, claims).
  • Experience in CI/CD integration using Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Guidewire Certification (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter).
  • Knowledge of SQL and ability to perform backend data validation.
  • Experience with cloud-based Guidewire implementations (AWS / Azure).
  • Exposure to performance testing using JMeter or LoadRunner.
