Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Automation Tester in Minneapolis, MN.
Summary:
We are looking for an Automation Tester to support the testing and quality assurance of customer-facing online banking applications. This role will focus on ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of digital banking platforms through a combination of automated and manual testing, with an emphasis on end-to-end customer journeys, functional testing, and regression testing. The ideal candidate will have strong automation testing experience, hands-on expertise with both Playwright and Selenium, a solid Java background, and experience testing online banking applications within a financial services environment.
Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts using Playwright and Selenium
* Execute end-to-end, functional, integration, and regression testing for online banking applications
* Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, developers, and QA teams to understand business requirements and develop comprehensive testing strategies
* Validate customer-facing online banking functionality and digital user journeys
* Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
* Analyze test results and provide recommendations regarding application quality and release readiness
* Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and quality assurance initiatives
* Continuously improve automation coverage, testing processes, and QA best practices
REQUIREMENTS:
* 7+ years of Quality Assurance and Software Testing experience
* Hands-on experience with both Playwright and Selenium automation frameworks
* Strong proficiency in Java
* Experience performing: Functional Testing; End-to-End Testing; Regression Testing; Automation Testing
* Experience testing online banking, digital banking, or consumer banking applications
* Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
