Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Health Insurance Agent role based in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The Health Insurance Agent will advise clients on health insurance options, including individual plans, family coverage, marketplace policies, and private PPO products. Daily responsibilities include meeting with clients in person, assessing coverage needs, explaining benefits and costs, and recommending suitable plans. The role involves processing applications, managing renewals, maintaining accurate client records, and following up to address questions or changes in circumstances. The agent will stay current on insurance regulations and product updates, collaborate with colleagues to resolve complex cases, and uphold compliance and ethical standards in all interactions.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Health Insurance and Insurance products, including plan structures, benefits, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in Insurance Brokerage, with the ability to compare carriers, negotiate offerings, and present options clearly to clients.
  • Understanding of Medicare programs and related supplemental coverage to guide eligible clients through enrollment and plan selection.
  • Excellent Communication skills, including active listening, clear explanation of complex information, and professional client service.
