KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Responsible for ensuring all standards are consistent globally, where necessary aligning with international colleagues to ensure no quality gaps in service
  • As the primary liaison for the business on applications and processes, is expected to be comfortable with every new feature and application being implemented, and serve as the main point of contact for the same
  • With support from the Technical Delivery team lead operational deployment efforts for new or updated features / applications / processes
  • Assist with scripting test documentation based on the business needs and technical solutions, as well sufficient understanding of the processes to document regression tests for future deployments
  • Support leadership in change management activities
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate risks for a given change or deployment
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and optimization, and where appropriate work with the Technical Delivery team to realize enhancements rapidly and effectively
  • Document changes to processes and procedures as they arise and ensure change logs are maintained
  • Assist in the development and monitoring of audit systems required for ensuring deployments are successful, or identifying problems before they become endemic
  • Comply with the Quality and Governance framework for project management, deployment and closure
  • Manage offshore resource in support of system administrative tasks, including defining standard procedures and monitoring performance thereof
  • Participate in the development of a safe and healthy workplace. Comply with instructions given for their own safety and health and that of others, in adhering to safe work procedures. Co-operate with management in its fulfilment of its legislative obligations.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to prioritize, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and achieve goals on time.
  • Ability to work independently with general guidance.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and lead projects in coordinating work of others.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with strategic partners, operational teams, internal technical resources, and executive leadership
  • Ability to make presentations to internal and external audiences
  • Excellent data collection and qualitative and quantitative analytical skills with ability to perform analysis of trends and formulate action plans to improve results
  • Able to travel as needed domestically

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Minimum

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, information technology or related field or equivalent experience
  • 5 Years in a freight forwarding operations and/or product management
  • Experience working with CargoWise One
  • Experience of training and implementation of new systems, applications, or processes

SPECIALIST CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Preferred CargoWise Certified Professional

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that base salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).

Compensation

$80,000 - $90,000
