Field Support Technician – Industrial Equipment

Full-Time | On-Site | Tullytown, PA | Occasional Travel

Important: This is not an IT or computer support role. This position supports mechanical equipment including industrial pumps, dosing systems, and fluid handling equipment.

Position Overview

SEKO Dosing Systems Corp. is seeking a Field Support Technician / Technical Support Specialist to join our Technical Support department at our Tullytown, PA facility.

This role supports customers across North America by troubleshooting and providing support for industrial chemical dosing pumps, controllers, and fluid-handling systems used in water treatment, cleaning and hygiene, and other industrial applications.

Support is provided primarily through phone and email troubleshooting, with occasional travel for on-site installations, customer training, and technical assistance.

This role is ideal for individuals with strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability who enjoy solving problems and working with industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with SEKO pumps and dosing systems using manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Provide technical support to customers and service companies via phone and email
• Assist customers with product installation, calibration, and operation
• Conduct occasional on-site service visits and technical training
• Train customers and sales teams on SEKO equipment and systems
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships
• Assist the Sales team with technical product questions
• Update technical manuals and documentation
• Assist with building demo systems for training and demonstrations
• Assist with troubleshooting technical components on the manufacturing floor when needed

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
• Ability to analyze problems and develop solutions independently
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, pumps, plumbing, or electrical components preferred
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to travel occasionally (approximately 10–15%) for customer support, installations, and training

Compensation

This position is classified as a non-exempt hourly role and is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with applicable wage and hour laws.

Hourly Pay Range: $22 – $28 per hour (based on experience)

• Overtime compensation will be paid for hours worked beyond 40 in a workweek
• Work-related travel time will be compensated in accordance with applicable wage and hour laws
