Overview

Seismic is looking for a Commercial Account Executive who will be a key member of this fast paced, and high-volume sales team. In this role, you will play an integral part in accelerating our growth by both landing new logos and expanding relationships within our existing customer base. This is an individual contributor role.

Preferred location: Boston (willingness to come into the office 2-3 days a week)

  • You have a minimum of 4‑years closing experience SaaS sales role with history of consistent quota achievement.
  • You have excellent communication, storytelling, and negotiation skills; confident managing complex deals with long sales cycles.
  • You’re naturally curious and patiently persistent.
  • You’re competitive and helpful at the same time. You’re driven by winning and you’ll leave it all on the field to help a teammate do the same.
  • You build trust and strive to create consultative relationships with your prospects. You are able to articulate value through effective presentation skills.
  • Prior experience working with Salesforce CRM, Sales Enablement or Content Management Systems, Sales Engagement Tools, and familiar with Marketing/Sales tech is a plus
What you’ll be doing
  • Hunting – outreach to a target account list of companies under 2000 employees to uncover and qualify opportunities.
  • Farming – expand accounts by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, building executive relationships, and increasing product adoption across business units.
  • Admin – Maintain accurate forecasting and CRM hygiene, providing regular updates on territory performance and growth opportunities.
