FOOD RUNNER - JOB DESCRIPTION


The Food Runner at SEIA is responsible for delivering food to tables promptly, accurately, and in accordance with presentation standards. This role is essential in maintaining the pace and quality of service by collaborating closely with both the kitchen and front-of-house teams.

Responsibilities include:
- Promptly and accurately delivering food from the kitchen to tables, ensuring dishes match tickets and that modifications or allergens are properly addressed.
- Communicating with Captains and Server Assistants regarding table numbers, timing, and any special instructions.
- Supporting plate presentation and placement as directed by service leadership.
- Assisting with clearing plates between courses, coordinating with the pacing of service.
- Upholding cleanliness and organization of runner stations, pass areas, and service corridors.
- Participating in opening and closing procedures as assigned.
- Consistently maintaining SEIA service standards, presentation, and hospitality expectations.
