Job description

ALMACO is adding to our team with 2nd Shift Press Brake Operators!
Press Brake Operators at ALMACO work independently with the ability to prioritize work orders and are adaptable when priorities change to maintain production schedules. You will prepare the sheet metal for our production operations using various saws and the press brake. You enjoy working with your hands and are eager to learn new skills.
ALMACO 2nd shift works from 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Monday - Thursday. You are reliable and can work 40-50+ hours per week depending on the work schedule.
Opportunities in this position:
  • Work independently to prepare sheet metal for future assembly by cutting, deburring, and bending material.
    • Operate the cold saw, horizontal band saw, and abrasive saw.
    • Operate the shear and laser cutter.
    • Set up and operate the press brake.
  • Maintain press brake:
    • Perform routine checks.
    • Perform minor maintenance.
    • Notify the Production Manager if issues occur.
An ideal candidate would possess:
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Dependability! Our manufacturing schedules rely on our employees reliably attending work and communicating if their work schedules need to be altered.
  • Ability to read written job instructions, diagrams, lists, prints, and manuals.
  • A good understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Flexibility to move from task to task quickly.
