Material Handler

Position Title: Material Handler

Department: Shipping

Compensation: $20-22/hr (based on experience)

The Opportunity

The material handler maintains production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory; delivering production materials and supplies; staging finishing product.

Responsibilities
  • Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials into crates; recording location of inventory in Lots, and insuring safe, quality storage, packaging and shipment of equipment and materials.
  • Locate materials and components by pulling and verifying materials and listed on production orders.
  • Pull inventory from work centers and stage by shipment in Lot.
  • Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
  • Documents product shipment by recording units shipped, taking clean, clear pictures of all shipments.
  • Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections; making operator repairs.
  • Ability to certify on large equipment operation; Telehandler and other forklifts.
  • Safely moves extremely large pieces of equipment using overhead cranes, forklifts and Tellahandler.
  • Responsible for taking pictures and logging completed equipment.
  • Endure Extreme weather conditions, Very Hot Summer to Very Cold Winter days
  • Build Crates and Pallets
  • Following all Safety protocols
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Forklift experience is required.
