As a Tactical Security Guard, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as Government Buildings, Sports Facilities, Retail Environments, Secure Facilities, etc.

Shift Timings: Evening and over nights18:00-04:30

Responsibilities for a Tactical Security Guard
  • Conduct patrols in various settings to ensure safety and security.
  • Enforce property rules, municipal by-laws, and applicable legislation.
  • Monitor and deter suspicious activity, unauthorized access, and criminal behavior.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to incidents and emergencies.
  • Maintain accountability for company and client property, including keys, phones, and equipment.
  • Complete accurate and detailed occurrence reports and daily activity logs.
  • Patrol critical areas and identify potential security risks.
  • Verify identification and control access to restricted or secure locations.
  • Respond to alarms and conduct on-site investigations.
  • Monitor the proper operation of security systems, alarms, and surveillance cameras.
  • Work collaboratively with law enforcement and emergency services during serious incidents.
  • Engage in community outreach and interact professionally with vulnerable populations.
  • Enforce the Trespass to Property Act and address unauthorized individuals on site.
  • Demonstrate strong observation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
Qualifications for a Tactical Security Guard
  • Be authorized to work in Canada
