Job Description

As a Security Officer X Ray Screening Patrol in Albany, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. You will communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and contribute to a welcoming environment. At Allied Universal, you will deliver through teamwork while acting with integrity in a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative culture.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies in a healthcare setting.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate hospital personnel and/or emergency responders.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directions, and access-control procedures in accordance with site policies.
  • Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
