Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking an Industrial Security Analyst for our Plymouth, MN location.
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Develops and administers physical security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations
  • Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies
  • Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials
  • Conducts security education classes and security audits

ISA duties will include:
  • Responsible for physical security (including programming badges, keys, cores, locks, combination changes and administration, working with contract security team, access control, video monitoring, intrusion detection and obtaining approval of open storage areas (formally closed areas)
  • Conduct required above ceiling/false floor checks of approved classified areas
  • Work as point of contact for alarms/response and works closely with the Enterprise Security Control Center (ESCC)
  • Conduct location surveys of areas needing physical security installations or system troubleshooting.
  • Documenting site security requirements for physical security systems, open storage areas - including preparing DCSA Forms 147 and coordination with DCSA/FSO for approval
  • Support Security UL 2050 program and vendor with project status, EMA compliance, site PO's, and invoices for integrator vendor
  • Support Business resiliency and contingency planning for the Crisis Management Team.
  • Support compliance of company and government Security regulations
  • Serve as the Alternate COMSEC Manager
  • Security duties within the NGC SIMS system
  • Assist the Industrial Security Team and programs as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED with at least 6 years of related experience; OR 2 plus years of experience with a bachelor's degree; OR 1 plus year of relevant experience with a master's degree
  • Working knowledge of the following standards/documents; 32 CFR part 117, NISP, UL 2050
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or 365, including, MS Word, MS EXCEL
  • Experience managing Security Vendors and keeping projects on schedule
  • Experience in programming and troubleshooting Lenel Access Control issues locally and remotely
  • This position requires an active DoD SECRET Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience managing security vendors and keeping projects on schedule.
  • Experience troubleshooting and programming Lenel ACS, video monitoring systems and DMP IDS Systems.
  • Experience with supporting Crisis Management Team by preparing emergency action plans, floor warden training, etc.
  • ASIS Physical Security Professional (PSP), NCMS Industrial Security Professional (ISP), or other security certification experience.
  • Experience with ICD-705.
  • Ability to maintain flexibility to deal with changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Self-starter with minimal supervision.
  • Willing to work extended hours, in a fast paced, deadline driven environment, excellent communication skills speaking, writing skills and organized skills enabling effective communications.
  • Ability to work independently and follow projects through to completion.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance

Primary Level Salary Range: $72,400.00 - $108,600.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
