Job description

The purpose of this position is to support the Administration of Baptist Health South Florida with the provision of a safe and secure environment for the care of patients and the peaceful and orderly operation of business throughout all entities serviced. To be proficient in all aspects as a BHSF security officer as provided for and by the BHSF security training program and able to work independently with little or no supervision.Estimated pay range for this position is $16.28 - $20.68 / hour depending on experience.Degrees:
  • High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper.
Licenses & Certifications:
  • Basic Life Support.
  • Florida Drivers License (Class E Non-Commercial).
Additional Qualifications:
  • Experience in the field of security with a preference in a hospital setting.
  • Law enforcement or military experience desired.
  • Required to complete BHSF security training program before the completion of their probationary period and supplemental training classes as they are offered.
  • BLS certification must be obtained within first 90 days of employment.
Minimum Required Experience: 2 Years
