Security Trainer is responsible for designing, implementing, and facilitating Security Officer training and development programs that enhance job performance and ensure compliance with security and hospital industry standards. Also responsible for maintaining training and certification records and acting as the custodian of department policies.


Qualifications

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree. Specific course work: Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field. 
  • Preferred Education: Master's Degree

Necessary Skills:

  • Written & verbal communications, interpersonal & communication skills.
  • Learning Management and e-learning tools, MS Office, organizational and project management skills.
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards and regulatory standards

Required Licensure/Certifications: N/A

Preferred Licensure/Certifications:

  • CPP, PSP, CHPA CPLP, SHRM-CP/SCP 

Required Experience:

  • 3-5 years trainer in security, law enforcement, military, or related field
