Job Summary
The Site Supervisor reports to the Security Manager. The major responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following duties:
Primary Responsibilities
  • The go-to person of the client for security related issues or requests
  • The next in the chain-of-command after the Security Manager, for matters in the field
  • Responsible for scheduling, including requests and approved time off
  • Tracking attendance, disciplinary action, vacation/time off requests, absence notices/Dr. notes, compliance
  • Audit officer daily activity reports
  • Scanning documents into the share drive as needed
  • Support employee Terminations and separation process
  • Requisitions, interviewing, hiring and guiding new hires through the pipeline until onsite
  • Uniform & equipment requests
  • Job Training and Compliance
  • Meeting with department heads as requested
  • Investigations (collecting written statements), and keeping client appraised of any incidents on site
  • Post Orders are kept up to date
  • Frequent communication with Security Manager and regional leadership team

Requirements
  • Technologically savvy - experienced with MS Office Suite.
  • Working knowledge of technology driven scheduling platforms a plus.
  • Project management experience.
  • Adept in leading teams in complex problem solving.
  • Customer Service orientation required.
  • Able to interact in a corporate environment and effectively communicate with all levels of management.
  • Must be flexible and possess the ability to meet deadlines in a high tempo environment.
  • Excellent time-management, organization and multi-tasking skills required.
  • A dependable team player with business maturity, enthusiasm, and a positive work attitude.
  • Ability to work in a matrixed environment.

Qualifications
  • Preferred candidate has either an honorable military discharge, a Bachelor's degree or 3 years' experience in an operations supervisor and project management role.
  • Can independently develop reports, spreadsheets, diagrams, charts, graphs, and other products that may be needed. (e.g. - MS Word, Excel, Access, SharePoint)
  • An understanding of security operations and contracts management preferred.
  • Understand operational KPIs and ability to utilize data to drive operations.
  • Strong interpersonal, critical thinking and time management skills.
  • A great communicator that gets the value of teamwork.
  • Experience in general office setting in a supervisory role preferred.
  • Comfortable in an ever changing, fast paced, sometimes stressful environment.
  • Must be flexible to travel to different sites and have had a valid driver's license with a clear motor vehicle record
  • Must possess State of Michigan Guard Card.
