Job Description:

Position requires the ability to maintain a DoD Security Clearance. An active DoD (in-scope) Secret Clearance is required.

Responsible for the procurement of subcontracts including the management of cost, schedule and performance parameters. Implement sourcing strategies, assesses supplier risk (including financial) and develops mitigation plans. Develops subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and/or services. Prepares bid packages, conducts bidders' conferences, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes awards, and administers resulting subcontracts. Negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts. Participates with contracts administration and purchasing to develop subcontract policies and procedures. Select methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for achieving goals and objectives. May sign supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority.

Essential Functions:

  • Experience in Procurement/Subcontracts
  • Must have an extensive background in troubleshooting within SAP
  • Negotiation expertise in both cost and terms and conditions is critical.
  • FAR and DFAR's understanding is a must.
  • Negotiates supplier statements of work.
  • Tailors, and negotiates terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services
  • Negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts.
  • An active DoD (in-scope) Secret Clearance is required.
