What is a security quality assurance manager?

Security Quality Assurance Managers are professionals responsible for ensuring that an organization's security processes, systems, and software meet established quality and compliance standards. They develop and implement testing strategies to identify vulnerabilities, assess risks, and verify that security controls are effective. These managers collaborate with IT, development, and compliance teams to maintain a secure environment, often overseeing audits and incident response plans. Their work helps organizations safeguard sensitive information and comply with industry regulations.

How does a security quality assurance manager typically collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance and security standards are met?

A Security Quality Assurance Manager works closely with IT, compliance, development, and operations teams to develop and implement security protocols and testing procedures.
